Featured inside is an 88-foot long coffee bar, a ceiling constructed from 10,000 handmade wooden tiles, and the location even utilizes augmented reality.
The design mainly focuses on how to logically organize and repeat the basic unit of the form and structure to generate specific function, light environment, and atmosphere within each space.
Lingers book and coffee bar is located in Shenzhen city, a hybrid space which combines reading, books, arts, coffee and desserts.
"Plunged into a foreign dark I found a new way of seeing, strange and alien. Synthetic light creeps into my eyes, the air thick with colours shifting and angles unbending. In the midst of the night a new day begins."
The building acts not only as an education center but as a connector from the park into the cultural district.
