Danish firm 3XN has been selected as the winner of a competition to design a new mixed-use waterfront building in Toronto’s East Bayfront district.
Designed by Casper Mueller Kneer Architects, the 22,000 square foot concept store — housed inside a 1930’s heritage building serves as both a retail space and a cultural hub.
Designed by Marco Simcic, the home is cantilevered either side of an outdoor man-made 'Canyon River' circulating seawater to produce geothermal radiant heating and cooling.
